This summer marks the first summer for owner, Lauren, to balance being a full-time business owner and mom. Thanks to a team of fantastic girls, it’s working beautifully!
Nicole is the longest tenured employee of Magnolia Mey and is now the Training Manager for the shop. She grew up in New Waverly and is studying at SHSU to become a Kindergarten teacher. Her favorite part of the job is being surrounded by the Magnolia Mey family – shop girls and customers alike!
Kori is working on her bachelors degree in general business and management at SHSU and will graduate in December. She has worked at Magnolia Mey since March and really loves the shop and it’s loyal customers and the Magnolia Mey family. Kori is our Visual and Crafting Manager.
Kelly is a graduate student at the University of Texas medical branch working for her masters in occupational therapy. Like most little girls, she loved playing dress up as a kid so working at the boutique is like reliving a part of her childhood. She especially loves the care given to the customers and how many of the items in the boutique give back to those in need!
Madison is a fashion merchandising major from Longview. She enjoys working at Magnolia Mey because it is such a fun and friendly place with super sweet customers. Madison’s favorite parts of working at the shop are meeting new people and dressing up in cute clothes!
Shop girl Kendall will be back in the fall! Kendall is from Katy and has just completed her Freshman year at SHSU. She is a nursing major. Kendall is very involved in Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and the Ronald McDonald Run. Her favorite part of working at Magnolia Mey is playing dress up and taking pictures.
Magnolia Mey is blessed to have such sweet girls dedicated to serving our customers. Because of their hard work, Lauren has been able to spend time with her kids making sweet summer memories. She has been able to work from home a great deal and leave the shop in very capable hands!
If you haven’t had a chance to meet these lovely girls, stop by the shop today.
